Independent Department

The Leavenworth Waterworks is an independent department, separate from the City of Leavenworth government. Please see Governing Board for information about our Waterworks Board.

The Leavenworth Waterworks has received a number of calls regarding the taste and odor of Chlorine in the water. We are working to correct this. Be assured that the water is safe to drink even though you can taste or smell the disinfectant added to the water.

Water production is currently operating at normal capacity. There are no boil orders or need for water conservation at this time.
